About Dr. Sandri

I believe education is one of the most powerful tools in healthcare — helping people understand their health, and feel confident and empowered in their care.

Naturopathic Doctor

My interest in naturopathic medicine began during my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. I initially pursued molecular genetics and psychology, fascinated by the role our genes play in health and disease. As my studies progressed, I became increasingly drawn to nutrition and psychology, discovering the profound influence that nutrition, lifestyle, and environmental factors can have on our health—including how our genes are expressed. Combined with my own personal health experiences, this inspired me to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine, where I could help people take a proactive and informed approach to their health.

I completed my naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), followed by a two-year residency in integrative oncology at the CCNM Integrative Cancer Clinic. During my residency, I had the privilege of working alongside an interdisciplinary team to support individuals through every stage of their cancer journey. Alongside my clinical training, I co-authored a narrative review published in the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors Journal exploring the role of nutritional interventions in cancer care, reinforcing my passion for bringing evidence-informed integrative approaches into clinical practice.

While integrative cancer care remains a primary focus of my practice, I also enjoy helping individuals improve their overall health and reduce their risk of chronic disease. I work with patients experiencing concerns such as weight management, insulin resistance, prediabetes and type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, and healthy aging. I strive to create practical and sustainable treatment plans that are tailored to each person's goals, needs, and lifestyle.

I strongly believe that education is one of the most powerful tools in healthcare. My approach is centered around helping patients understand their health, the factors contributing to their symptoms, and the reasoning behind each recommendation. By working collaboratively with my patients, I aim to empower them to make informed decisions and feel confident in their care. I believe meaningful, lasting changes are built through small, sustainable steps that fit into each person's unique life.

I am a certified intravenous infusion therapy provider and offer individualized IV nutrient treatments and mistletoe therapy when appropriate as part of a comprehensive approach to care. I am also a proud member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). I am committed to ongoing learning and continuing education to ensure my patients receive compassionate, evidence-informed care that reflects current research and best practices.
