Marie Loughnane is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with over 20 years of nursing experience, 10 as an NP. Her nursing practice has been built around empowering clients through education and compassion, and she embraces the privilege of being able to care for people and advocate for their care needs.

Marie has a special interest in women’s health, supporting women in creating better health outcomes that align with their values and priorities. As part of the Clara Clinic team, she collaborates with Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) to provide comprehensive, wraparound care. Her role includes ordering lab work, making specialist referrals, and co-developing treatment plans that enhance the clinic’s holistic and integrative approach. Marie embraces the philosophy that “it takes a village” when it comes to healthcare.

Her diverse background spans internal medicine and geriatrics, with experience in both acute hospital settings and community care. This has given her deep expertise in managing chronic conditions and navigating the complexities of aging. Marie is committed to building strong, therapeutic relationships with her clients, offering guidance and support through health challenges and life transitions.
